The story of Fixafell all started with a pair of gloves. Our mother was a skilled seamstress and made high-quality leather gloves and other products. One day, a neighbor asked our parents if they could make a custom sprayhood for his boat − and they did. After having spent hours fitting the fabric to the frames, and sowing every stitch with incredible detail, our parents created the first of many Fixafell sprayhoods.
Already from an early age, we accompanied our father to customer meetings and spent the summers at the boatyards installing sprayhoods and biminis on the customers' yachts. We have both grown up in the boat industry and learned quickly that the secret ingredient to great products is high quality, attention to details, and an unyielding reliability.
Our strong relationships with our customers have always been the sails of our company. Some of our customers have been with us for over 30 years, and that's because we always listen to them and their unique needs. By following our customers wishes in every last detail, we want to help our customers create their dream yacht.
We're a small, family-owned business, and we work closely with every customer from start to finish. With decades of experience and a team of talented seamstresses, leather workers, and with some clever engineering, we are dedicated to fulfilling the customers vision down to the last stitch.
